Description
This is a sources sought synopsis for the items listed below. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). These items are being considered for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. Multiple awards may be made. Award of a one-year basic with two one-year options is anticipated. The items listed below are coded ?1C?, indicating item is determined to be competitive; however, each item requires engineering source approval by the design control activity. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Qualification Requirements are available through the Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Dr STE 1AG85A, Tinker AFB 73145-3009, 405-739-7243. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) manages the items listed below: Item No. NSN P/N NOUN 1 2840-01-199-0436NY 9395M63G01 Seal, LPT Stator, Stage 3 2 2840-01-199-0438NY 9395M64G01 Seal, LPT Stator, Stage 4 3 2840-01-199-0439NY 9395M64G02 Seal, LPT Stator, Stage 4 4 2840-01-199-0437NY 9395M63G03 Seal, LPT Stator, Stage 3 5 2840-01-199-9775NY 9395M63G02 Seal, LPT Stator, Stage 3 The function for all the LPT Stator seals listed above is to provide a sealing surface for the low-pressure turbine blades to maintain turbine efficiency on the TF39 engine. Material used is Hastelloy X. These parts requires use of specialized manufacturing processes such as forging or flash welding, furnace brazing, welding, electro-discharge machining, electro-chemical machining, and conventional machining.
