Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability of potential sources to provide chest x-ray examinations and readings for Federal Occupational Health Centers. The contractor shall have radiograph equipment and a facility that meet all local/state laws and regulations, to include local inspection certificates. X-rays shall be interpreted by a Board Certified or Board eligible physician who hold a license in the State where the chest x-ray is being performed. The technician/physician performing the x-ray study must be licensed in the state where the examination is done. Proof of malpractice insurance is required. Standard Posterior/Anterior (PA) and Lateral chest x-rays must be of sufficient quality to allow for a B reading. The facility must be within 30 to 45 minutes commuting distance from the Health Centers, one located in the Metro Washington area and the other in the Baltimore City Crescent area. The facility should have parking available and be within walking distance from public transportation. This is not and Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Application (RFA) and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract. All interested parties wishing to do business with the Federal Government are required to obtain, before a contact can be awarded, a Duns number (Data Universal Numbering System) assigned by Dun and Bradstreet reference FAR Clause 52.204-6. The Duns number is used to register in the Government repository for Contractor information CCR (Central Contractor Registration) reference FAR Clause 52.204-7. FAR Clauses can be accessed at http:www.arnet.gov/far.
