- Description
- Existing Census Order YB1323-04-SE-0128 to the Coronado Group, processed in October, 2003, as a commercial item per FAR Part 12, and as synopsized in Fed-Bizz Opps on 10/24/2003, is being modified to obtain additional support for more licenses. Original cost was $63,686.00. Modified cost is $103,710.00. The Census Bureau intends to award on a sole source basis per 41USC253, "Only One Responsible Source." The nominated vendor is the only licensed distributor for the requested software maintenance. The required technical support, maintenance, and software upgrades can not be purchased directly from the manufacturer and can not be purchased from any other vendor. The techncial support and software upgrades are required to facilitate the processing requirements at the Census Bureau. Based on this, the Census Bureau believes no other offerors are currently available to fulfill the requirements of this order. This action is being processed as authorized in FAR 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.
