- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all equipment and labor necessary to provide for the removal and replacement of the existing roof of building 3, including the sky bridge and walkway of the building as well as the sky bridges and walkways at buildings 1 and 4. All work is to be conducted at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Western Regional Center (WRC), 7600 Sandpoint Way N.E., Seattle, WA. Work will include, but is not limited to the following: removal of the existing built up roof system on the building and re-roofing of the building as well as the sky-bridges and walkways. Mechanical HVAC units, piping, and miscellaneous roof penetrations will remain in place. The contractor will be responsible for preparing the existing roof deck as required to receive a new 3-ply Modified Bitumen SBS roofing membrane. This system includes the installation of a heavy weight SBS modified interplay and capsheet over a basesheet and inverted capsheet mechanically fastened to the lightweight insulating concrete. Also included as part of the project will be the modification to the screen wall enclosure around the HVAC equipment to provide 8? clearance between the roof surface and the bottom panel of the screen wall. Estimated cost for this project is between $500,000-$1,000,000. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside for small business. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238160 with a small business size standard of $12.0 million. All responsive and responsible offers may be submitted.
