- Description
- Cedar/Nevada Culvert Replacements: Project consists of two items. Item 1 - Cedar Creek Culvert Replacement consists of removal of a 48" corrugated metal culvert and replacing it with a 164"x105" corrugated steel pipe arch with baffles. Work includes metal pipe removal and disposal, 12" minus pipe borrow, pipe culvert excavation, pipe arch installation, government furnished aggregate placement, riprap placement, and all other work needed to complete the project as required by the plans and specifications. Item 2 (Optional) - Nevada Creek Culvert Replacement: Project consists of removal of a 36" corrugated metal culvert and replacing it with a 87"x63" corrugated steel pipe arch with baffles. Work includes metal pipe removal and disposal, borrow excavation, 12" minus pipe borrow, pipe culvert excavation, pipe arch installation, government furnished aggregate placement, riprap placement, and all other work needed to complete the project as required by the plans and specifications. The project is located approx. 17 1/2 miles southeast of Weippe, Idaho. Access from Weippe is via county road and Forest Roads 100 and 5132. The Cedar Creek Culvert is on Road 5125 at milepost 0.01. The Nevada Creek Culvert is on Road 5132 at milepost 0.40. The pre-bid tour will be held on May 11, 2004.
