- Description
- The United States Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 with Georgia Power, 6711 Londonderry Way, Union City GA 30291. The USSS requires the installation, rental, and removal of backup generator and 750KVA 3-phase transformer. Georgia Power is the only known source capable of providing the required products to ensure compatibility with existing utilities. This statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 41 USC 253(c)(1) Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements. No formal solicitation package is available. Estimated date of Award is March 29, 2004. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice. See FBO Note 22 is modified to read three (3) days in lieu of forty-five. The NAICS code is 221211, Electric Bulk Power Distribution and Control and the small business size standard is 4M Megawatt hours.
