- The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, Philadelphia District, is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to acquire T-splice Kits, 3-M SQ D Outdoor Load Center, 225 amp panel, with main breaker or (equal) to upgrade the capacity of the Kandahar Airfield, Afghani stan power grid. Request for Quote (RFQ) Number W912BU-04-T-0038 has been assigned. The NAICS Code is 423610, with a size standard of 500 employees. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporate d provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular, 2001-20. The following is a list of line items: (1) 3M, 5815-S (or equal), rated 5KV, qty 15ea (2) 3M, 5815-S (or equal), rated 15KV, qty 15ea (3) 3M, 5815-T (or equal), rated 5KV, qty 15ea (4) 3M, 5815-T (or equal), rated 15KV, qty 15ea (5) SQ D Outdoor Load Center, 225 amp panel, with main breaker (or equal), qty 100ea (6) Circuit Breaker, 25 amp, qty 400ea (7) Circuit Breaker, 35 amp, qty 400ea (8) Circuit Breaker, 50 amp, qty 200ea (9) Circuit Breaker, 60 amp, qty 400ea (10) Romex 12/2 with Ground, qty 10,000 ft; (11) Romex 10/2 with Ground, qty 10,000 ft (12) 12/3 SO, qty 5000ft; (13) 10/4 SO, qty 5000ft (14) 6/4 SO, qty 5000ft. Delivery is required within 10 calendar days to Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, after award. The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, the evaluation factors are price and delivery with delivery more important than price. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Rep resentative and Certifications- Commercial Items, must be completed and returned with the offer. The provisions at 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 apply. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered. The Government will not pay for information received. Bonding is not required. All contractors are required to be registered in the DOD??????s Central Contract Register (CCR) before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
