- Requirements Type Contract for Miscellaneous Water Treatment Chemicals for delivery to Fort Knox, Kentucky, during the period 1 May 2004 through 30 April 2005 with one one-year option period. Estimated annual quantity of 539,000 pounds of aluminum su lfate, 24,000 pounds of sulfur dioxide gas, 28,000 pounds of chlorine gas in contractor-owned 150-pound cylinders, 60,000 pounds of chlorine gas in contractor-owned one-ton cylinders. NAICS for this requirement is 325188. Solicitation to be posted on Fort Knox homepage website at http://www.knox.army.mil/garrison/doc/contracting_opportunities.htm on or around 31 March 2004 with an anticipated response date of 20 April 2004. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All amendments to the solicitati on will be likewise posted to the website. Contractors are cautioned to check the website for amendments.
