- Description
- The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Bliss Texas, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Du Motion Audio Visual & Video, Inc., El Paso, Texas. This contract is for the upgrade, maintenance and enhancement of existing audio visual equipment for Tactical Operation Centers (TOC and KTOC) for 35th ADA BDE and 2-1 ADA BDE. Du Motion Audio Visual & Video, Inc. is the initial developers and/or designer of the current system and was responsible for the initial installation, design and configuratio n of the original requipment. No Request for Proposal is available for competitive bidding; however interested parties may submit a Statement of Capability for satisfying this requirement within 7 days of this announcement to the contact person listed abo ve. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources shall respond by submitting a written narrative Statement of Capability including detailed technical information and other technical information literature demonstr ating the ability to meet the above requirements. The responses must be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish a bone fide capability to meet the requirements. No telephone requests will be honored. Failure to submit documentation will result in the Government proceeding with negotiations. Responsible sources must be within a 25 mile radius of Fort Bliss Texas in order to respond to technical and maintenance needs if required. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed re quirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
