Description
National Simulation Center (NSC) mission support requirements. The services required include the following simulations and simulators to support battalion, brigade, division, corps and joint simulation training throughout Department of Defense (DOD) as well as military operations; digitization of the battlefield; development of new simulation models as well as maintenance of current systems. This requirement will provide subject matter expertise for development, preparation and operations of the Arm y Constructive Training Federation which includes Corps Battle Simulation (CBS); Tactical Simulation (TACSIM); Brigade/Battalion Battle Simulation (BBS) ; Janus; Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS); Spectrum; Aggregate Level Simulation Protocol (ALSP); Combat Service Support Training Simulation System (CSSTSS); Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance , and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems; Warfighters?????? Simulation (WARSIM), One-Semi-Automated Force (OneSAF), and D igital Battlestaff Sustainment Trainer (DBST). Also supported are Joint and Confederated Exercises, Command and Control Simulations Equipment (C2SE),Terrain Database development and integration.; installation, operation, and maintenance of Battlefield Vis ualization equipment in support of exercises/training events as well as providing operation instructions to system operators; TRADOC Program Integration Office (TPIO) Virtual, and Future Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) Integration; TPIO Virtual provides o verall program management of existing and emerging virtual simulators, both system and non-system, for Active Component, Army National Guard, Army Reserve and all Army centers and schools to include assistance in the areas of review and preparation of req uirements documentation, technical project support and briefing support as well as support of the family of Combined Arms Tactical Trainers (CATT) simulators and simulations including Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT), Aviation Combined Arms Tactical T rainer-Aviation Reconfigurable manned Simulator (AVCATT-A), Soldier CATT, Synthetic Environment Core (SE Core) and other Army virtual simulators and simulations, both system and non-system, including SE Core and EST 2000. Assessment of model and simulatio n capabilities available to the government to support Stryker Brigade Combat Team and Army Training Federation simulation/stimulation requirements; assist/support the C2SE team in fielding, developing, validating, prioritizing and executing fulfillment of baseline support requirements for Army simulation centers, institutions, and combat training centers; support Training, Exercises, and Military Operations (TEMO) domain; assist in refinement of OneSAF requirements for the TEMO domain; provide refinement of requirements for LVC integration support for Army digital training; assessment of feasibility and effort required to use current models and simulations in Future Force simulation/stimulation requirements. The Federal Supply Class for this requirement is R 499, NAICS code is 541611. The small business standard is $6,000,000.00. This acquisition is unrestricted. An indefinite quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. Single award will be made for a base year and four, one-year options. The soli citation will be issued on or about April 30, 2004.
