- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for Reference Number FB557532683129. This procurement is unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 238120. Moron Air Base, Spain has a requirement for 200 EA concrete barriers to include steel cabling. Each of the barriers must include 4 meters of ??, 3 strand steel cable. The steel cable is to remain uncut and may be shipped in rolls. The concrete barriers must be fabricated using lightweight concrete (640 kg/m3) with an 8 day break strength of 60 kg/cm2. The barrier is to be coated with a 6mm layer of a commercial polyurethane product called ?Ultimate Lining? or equal. The coating material must have a tensile strength of 106 kg/cm2 and an elongation of 300%. Technical information on the coating material as well as documentation verifying the density strength of the concrete is to be submitted for approval with your quote. REQUIRED DELIVERY DATE: 45 Days. The Government will consider offers with a reduced delivery date. DELIVERY LOCATION: 496 ABS/SF Building 110 41530 Moron Seville, Spain The Government will award a Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror that is most advantageous to the government. Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Representations and Certifications. You may request a copy of this provision from the primary point of contact to include with the RFQ. The Provisions/Clauses referenced below can be obtained at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/.
