Wolfe Ave., Edwards AFB, CA 93524 SUBJECT: FRICTION TESTER RAM REF NO: F2LMCA40650100 DUE: 2 APRIL, 2004 POC: Rodger owen Young, 661-277-9569 (voice) COMBINED SYNOPOSIS AND SOLICATION DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition And FAR 25 to: Reichel and Partner, P.O Box 1101, 76762 Rheinzabern, Federal Repulic of Germany Phone +49(7272) 91 95 14, FAX +49 (7272) 91 95 16. The award is 100 ?Percent set-aside for a domestic source (If Available).The NAICS code is 423490. The following items will be procured: CLIN 0001, one (1) each, friction tester bam, cat #: 781-0004. CLIN 0002, one (1) each, porcelain plates, porcelain plates, 25x25x5 mm, set of 100 porcelain plates; cat #: 781-0206. CLIN 0003, one (1) each, porcelain pins, porcelain pins, 10x15 mm, set of 400 porcelain plates; cat #: 781-0207. CLIN 0004, wooden box 115x57x63 cm, cat #: 781. The Reichel and Partner GmBh Company of the Federal Republic of Germany is the manufacturer. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423490. The size standard is 500. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received by the publication due date of this notice. A determination by the Government whether or not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
