- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with FEI Co., Hillsboro, OR, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting From a Single Source, to disassemble (1) CM30 Transmission Electron Microscope and (1) CM300 Transmission Electron Microscope, and reassemble same after a scheduled location change during the month of April. This is a sole source requirement as existing service agreements would be void if another contractor handled the equipment. A fixed price purchase order will be issued on or about Mar. 31, 2004 with a thirty day performance period. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, in writing, no later than the response date. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a request for competition. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry: www.ccr.gov
