- Project is for reconstruction of Road 665 (1.60 miles). Work includes removal of culverts; borrow excavation, placement method 2; placed riprap, class 3, method A; crushed aggregate, type surface, grade class 4, compaction A; 54" PCCSP, .064" thickness, method C; 72" PCCSP, .064" thickness, method C; 84" PCCSP, .079" thickness, method C, seeding, hydraulic or dry method (with mulch). Work is located on the Fourche District of the Ouachita National Forest in Yell County, Arkansas. Cost to the Government is not expected to be the controlling factor in the selection of a contractor for this solicitation. The degree of importance of cost as a factor could become greater depending upon the quality of the proposals for other factors evaluated. The following factors will be used for evaluation of each proposal: Past Performance, Experience and Price. Estimated price range is below $25,000. This solicitation is set aside for emerging small businesses. Solicitation will be available on this web site on or about March 24, 2004.
