- Item 1 - The United States Coast Guard is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified vendors to quote on (100) percent wool carpet, 42 ounce weight, velvet woven through the back with short loop construction. Carpet must conform to MILSTD 1623, Certification of comformance to MIL STD 1623 is required before award, Color to be a mixture of black and dark brown or black, dark brown and amber. Carpet sample must be submitted prior to award assure color meets customer requirements. A total of (700) square yards is required. Delivery will be F.O.B Destination, U.S.Coast Guard ELC, Baltimore, Maryland 21226.
