- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-04-0418. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 22. This procurement action is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 811310 and small business size standard is 500 employees. The BEP requests quotations for Calibration Service for tools and instruments in accordance with attached statement of work. The base period of performance shall be May 5, 2004 through September 30, 2004. The performance of required services shall begin on May 5, 2004. This requirement will have 2 Option Periods. Option I ? October 1, 2004 ? September 30, 2005 and Option Period II ? October 1, 2005 ? September 30, 2006. The services required are to be performed at the following address: Bureau of Engraving & Printing, 14th & C Street SW, Washington, DC 20228 and delivery shall be FOB Destination to the delivery address. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition and any addenda attached to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the specific evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of that provision are: (1). Technical Capabilities (2). Accreditation (3). Past Performance. All offerors responding to this solicitation shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and any addenda attached to the clause. The attached Simplified Acquisition Terms & Conditions apply to this acquisition. Quotes are due April 2, 2004 not later than 2:00 pm Est. time.
