- The work consists of contractor supplying all labor, material, and equipment necessary to (1) install air conditioning in fifteen communication and electrical closets and (2) Replace Cooling Coils in AHU-3S, 3N, 4S, AND 4N at Moncrief Army Community Hospital, Fort Jackson, South Carolina. This procurement is being procured as a firm fixed price contract being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This procurement is an UNRESTRICTED requirement. The U.S. Army Co rps of Engineers, Mobile District, Mobile, Alabama will handle the requirement. Refer to document in request. Bid documents are available on or about 19 March 2004 on Internet at http://www.sam.usace.army.mil. Mrs. Jacalyn M. Jenkins, 251-441-5598 (fax 251-690-2675) may answer specific questions related to this solicitation. There is no cost for this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. The NAICS code is 238220. Mr. Leo J. Hickman is Contracting Officer for this project. Bidders, subcontractors and Dodge/Plan Rooms are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet. Registration instructions are available on the Internet at http://www.sam.usace.army.mil, then click on contract bids. Neither telephonic, ma iled, nor fax requests will be accepted. For this job, a small business is defined as having average annual receipts of less than $12,000,000 for the past three years.
