Description: The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans has a requirement for a Contractor to furnish all labor, material, parts, equipment, fuel, oil, transportation, equipment and dock facilities to replace the port main engine, Detroit Diesel 12V-71 Turbocha rged, Intercooled, along with the Twin Disc MG-514 marine gear for a complete shop overhaul or exchange for engine and marine gear for the M/V Burrwood. The M/V Burrwood is a 58-foot survey vessel located at the USACE, Calcasieu Locks Mooring Dock, Lake C harles, LA. Contractor's facility must be within 125 miles of Morgan City, LA. Solicitation DACW29-04-T-0043 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This requirement is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR 12, Commercial Item. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 7699 and the business size is $6M. The NAICS code is 811310. This solicitation is issued as 100% small business set aside.
