Description

The Army requires a requirements type contract for Construct and Maintenance of Low Water Crossings, Fort Stewart, Georgia. The work primarily consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for construct new Low Water Crossing and Repair, Maintenance of existing Low Water Crossings as ordered by Task Orders. The work shall consist of all excavations, shaping, grading, and earthfill required for constructing the diversions and waterways and smooth critical ar eas to include installing surface hardening materials including geocell and aggregate infill. This solicitation is set-aside to be competed amongst 8(a) contractors serviced by the SBA Atlanta District Office. Only 8(a) firms are being sought. The appli cable SIC Code is 1629 and the NAICS Code is 237990 and the magnitude is between 5000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 (Base period plus three one year option periods). Performance shall commence within ten days of Notice to Proceed issued and continue through 31 July 2005. This contract will contain option provisions to extend terms of the contract for three additional one-year periods. This solicitation will be posted on the Internet only on or about 15 April 2005.
