Description
Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services, and supervision to reconfigure electrical distribution system, USTRANSCOM, Bldg 1900, Scott AFB IL, according the specifications and drawings for Project VDYD03-0350. Project comprises changes and additions to the UPS and emergency power systems to include electrical demolition and new electrical work. Work will be performed during nontypical work hours in restricted access areas with government escorts. This acquisition is being considered for a HUB Zone set-aside. If your firm is HUB Zone certified and intends to submit an offer on this project, you must provide the following information to the contracting officer not later than ten(10) days after the publication of this notice: (a) SBA certification of HUB Zone eligibility; (b) a positive statement of intention to submit an offer as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of recent relevant experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contacts with telephone numbers. Information provided should demonstrate experience, as a prime or subcontractor, with installation, maintenance, or repair of emergency power systems supporting a large hospital or other industrial-type communications/computer facility; (d) evidence of bonding capability. All of the above information must be submitted insufficient detail within 10 days after the publication of this notice or the solicition will be advertised and issued as small business set-aside or unrestricted.
