- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting From a Single Source, to renew annual affiliate membership to the World Wide Web (W3C) Consortium. This is a sole source requirement as the contractor is the designated source in the Americas for renewing the membership. A fixed price purchase order will be issued on or about Mar. 29, 2004 for a 1 year period with three 1 year option periods. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, in writing, no later than the response date. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a request for competition. To be eligible for award, offerors MUST be registered with the Central Contractor Registry: www.ccr.gov.
