- Description
- This solicitation is for Dust Abatement / Road Stabilization. Supply and apply a environmentally safe material to secondary roads on the Savannah River Site (SRS) for dust abatement and road stabilization. Approximate coverage area of 200,000 SY (this equates to approximately 24 miles of roadway coverage with average width of 14 feet running surface). Baseline is Calcium Choride treatment but other materials may be acceptable in proposal. The resulting indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract will be a commercial performance based service contract with a base period and two option years. The size standard is $6.0 million. Solicitation should be available on this web site on or about 10 April 2004. There will be a site visit held. Details will be included in the solicitation. SRS is a restricted access Government facility. A minimum of 72 hours is required to process any security badge requests for U.S. Citizens and up to 30 days could be required for non-U.S. citizens. Contractors should pay close attention to the deadlines to submit information required to gain access for site visit included in the solicitation. Offerors must register on the site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent postings.
