- Description
- The Contractor shall supply all labor, material, supervision, and equipment to replace the existing steam line in Range 1, located at the USDA, ARS, BARC in Beltsville, Maryland, in accordance with the Statement of Work, drawings, and specifications. All work is to be completed within 150 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for April 13, 2004, 10 a.m., meeting in the rear of Bldg 003, Beltsville, MD. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 238220 and the annual size standard is $12.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as a small business set-aside, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), using procedures from FAR Part 13?Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about April 5, 2004. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the website for the solicitation, as well as any amendments that may arise. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotations will be due May 5, 2004. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits a quotation with the lowest overall cost to the Government. Anticipated award date is May 10, 2004.
