Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) intends to issue a competitive 100% Small Business Set-Aside, Firm Fixed Price contract for Shoulder Bolts and washers under SOLICITATION NUMBER N68335-03-T-0019 on or about approximately 23 March 2004. The solicitation will appear on the NAVAIR home page www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/. This procurement is for 1,000 each Shoulder Bolts Part Number 525110-2 and 1,000 each Washers Part Number 12-30722-2 Rev H, No option. The Shoulder Bolts, or Connector Pins, PN 525110-1 are used to attach the Connector and the Strip Guide to the Catapult Launching Engine Piston Assembly. On each Catapult there is a left hand and a right hand Piston Assembly and there 8 each of these Bolts on each assembly. The catapult system is a crucial shipboard system supporting the launching of aircraft from the deck of a carrier. The drawings are in accordance with the Naval Air Warfare Center?s drawing 525110 and 12-30722 Revision H. Receipt inspection at NAVAIR Lakehurst, NJ. Packaging in groups of 8 shoulder bolts with 8 washers in accordance with MIL-STD-2073D (Standard Practice for Military Packaging) (Reference Document MIL-STD 130K) and MIL-STD-129D (Standard Practice for Military Marking). First Article Testing performed by the Government at Lakehurst, NJ. Delivery shall be 120 days after acceptance of First Article Test. This procurement contains Technical Data subject to Export Control Laws, see note 8. All contractors seeking award must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
