Wolfe Ave., Bldg. 2800, Edwards AFB, CA 93524 SUBJECT: Sypris Data Systems Multiplexer Equipment REF NO.: F3XCAI40700500 DUE: 25 March 2004 POC Traudi Koppisch, 661-275-9626 (fax) DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) 411 FLTS, Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Sypris Data Systems of Capitola Ca for 128 Mbps Multiplexer PCB, PCM Input Card, 4 Chan., TTL 75 Ohm, BNC, Analog Input Card, 4 Channel, 75 OHM, BNC and On-site Field Service Instatioaton in 2 Prexisting ARMOR Formatters. This acquisition is unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3577. The NAICS code is 334119. This procurement is for support of the F/A-22 CTF in the Air Frame Data Lab Armor Units to support JDAM Testing. The following items will be procured: (DESCRIPTION: 128 Mbps Multiplexer PCB; PART NUMBER: STS-2101CL; QTY:2; MFG: Sypris Data Systems), (DESCRIPTION: PCM Input Card, 4 Chan., TTL 75 Ohm, BNC; PART NUMBER: STS-2111CL; QTY:2; MFG: Sypris Data Systems), (DESCRIPTION: Analog Input Card, 4 Channel, 75 OHM, BNC; PART NUMBER: CTS-2131BL-13; QTY:2; MFG: Sypris Data Systems), (DESCRIPTION: On-site Field Service Instatioaton in 2 Prexisting ARMOR Formatters) Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. In addition, the response should include Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items in accordance to FAR 52.212-3. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, go to www.arnet.gov to get a copy or contact the contract specialist by email to receive a copy. Any responses received without 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Further, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is 26 March 2004. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 3:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, 25 March 2004. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 9 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
