- Description
- The Custer National Forest is proposing a cultural resource management project consisting of a Class III 100% level inventory of approximately 20,000 acres of National Forest lands on Ashland District in preparation for coal bed natural gas EIS. The purpose of the inventory is to locate, map and record all hertiage resources found within the boundaries of parcels that have been defined by the FS as areas of medium to high site probability. All sites will be recorded with GPS that is compatible with USFS GIS system.
