- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole source contract to EPPS Air Service Inc., Atlanta, GA, 30341, to procure and install approximately seventy-five (75) Garmin GNS-530 kits into the E-2C aircraft and associated efforts as may be necessary to accomplish this work. NAVAIR intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract, base year and four option years with EPPS. This action will be negotiated on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), as NAVAIR believes that only EPPS possesses the requisite knowledge and technical expertise for installation of the Garmin kits into the E-2C aircraft.
