- GySgt KM Mohead, Contracting Officer. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This requirement is being issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This action is unrestricted. This solicitation contains (1) CLINs with subclins with the purpose of issuing a firm fixed-price requirement contract for a base one year with (4) one-year option period. The Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, Georgia, has a requirement for the following item: CLIN 0001: One kit of component parts for 7.5 ton crane Hydraulic. CLIN 0001AA: (2) Axle lockout valve, NSN: 2520-01-261-9798, Part number: 709 1222. CLIN 0001AB: (1) Steering control unit, NSN: 2530-01-297-8455, Part number: 709 1064. CLIN 0001AC: (1) Steering selector valve, NSN: 2530-01-268-5361, Part number: 709-1224. CLIN 0001AD: (1) Swing motor, NSN: 4320-01-263-3221, Part number: 709 1065. CLIN 0001AE: (1) Main Hydraulic pump, NSN: 4320-01-268-0232, Part number: 709 1008. CLIN 0001AF: (1) Ground Driven pump, NSN: 4320-01-262-5220, Part number: 709 1059. CLIN 0001AG: (1) Brake relief valve, NSN: 4820-01-262-3138, Part number: 709 1227. CLIN 0001AH: (1) Steering valve, NSN: 4730-01-262-7725, Part number: 706 8858. CLIN 0001AJ: (1) Valve Flow divider, NSN: 4820-01-268-2026, Part number: 709 1228. CLIN 0001AK: (1) Winch motor, NSN: 4320-01-268-3805, Part number : 206618. CLIN 0001AL: (1) Winch Brake valve, NSN: 2590-01-266-4270, Part number: 206619. Contractor should quote the items in a stepladder quantity of 50, 100, 150 and 200 per CLIN. Deliveries will be made to the Maintenance Center Albany (MCA), Albany, GA 31704 during normal business hours (7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday). Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the best value to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers and determine best value to the Government: Price, Technical Acceptance, and Delivery. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial product, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Offerors responding to this announcement must provide the information contained in 52.212-3, Evaluation – Commercial Items with their offer. The offeror shall also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (Cage) code, Contractor Establishment code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register to be eligible for award. www.ccr.gov. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for futu re discussions and/or award. Written, facsimile, or emailed quotes and the above required information must be received at this office on or before 26 March 2003, at 4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany, GA, Contract Department.
