- Description
- Notice of intent to award a sole source procurement under FAR Part 12.203 and FAR Part 13.5 to Advantor Systems Corporation to upgrade the Advantor alarm system currently installed at F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming. The vendor will upgrade/replace the current alarm system to comply with applicable DoD and Air Force Directives. The Advantor alarm system protects 52 Protection Level (PL) 4 resources on F.E. Warren AFB. The Wing Command Post and new 153 CACS facility will require a system certified for PL-1 resources. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), the Government will negotiate directly with Advantor Systems Corporation. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation for offers. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334290 with a size standard of 750 employees. Responses to this notice must be submitted within 15 days after this electronic posting. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Response to this synopsis is not required.
