Description
17. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code is 621112 with a size standard of $8.5M. The Drug Enforcement Administration [DEA] has a requirement for Psychologists to conduct pre-employment psychological assessments of candidates for special agent position applicants. The DEA intends to make multiple awards for these services. Each award will be for an exclusive geographic region and have three [3] consecutive optional performance years. The regions are 1] northeast, 2] Southern, 3] Central and 4] Western. The western region includes both Hawaii and Alaska. It is anticipated that there will be approximately 300 assessments per region each year. Offerors will be evaluated and ranked on the basis of: 1] Qualified interviewers having completed an accredited doctoral-level program in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. Interviewers must have a valid license from within the geographic area being proposed or provide substantial evidence of the capability to obtain the license by the contract effective date. Interpreted a minimum of 250 MMPI-2 scores and prepared acceptable reports for law enforcement entity. Conducted a minimum of 100 MMPI-2 for law enforcement positions. A current knowledge of both the professional and regulatory guidelines and professional standards related to the use of psychological assessments in employment settings. A member in good standing with the American Psychological Association. 2] Offerors should have recent past performance in successfully conducting and defending those final assessments during administrative or judicial appeal. The contract award is anticipated for October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005 with an additional three [3] one [1] year option periods. This requirement is open to all certified small business that are in compliance with the SBA threshold for small business status as of the award date. This synopsis is for information purposes only. This RFP will be available on or about Thursday, 03/18/2004. Offerors may submit questions or clarification requests until Wednesday, April 07, 2004 to the following.
