- Note: We are still in the Market Research phase of this procurement, and have not made a decision about the small business preference program, if any, yet. We will make this determination once we have received all of the market survey responses. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, is currently seeking potential sources for the Multi-Function Facilities Support Services at Naval Air Station (NAS) Key West, FL. The scope of work includes all management, supervision, labor, engineering services, tools, materials, equipment, supplies, facilities, and transportation necessary to perform the required services in the following functional areas: (1) HVAC Services, (2) Janitorial Services, (3) Leak Detection Services, (4) Waste Water Treatment Plant Testing/Analysis Services, (5) Calibration Fuel Meters Services, (6) Cooling Towers/Boilers Services, (7) Hood Degreasing Services, (8) Coliform Testing Services, (9) Pest Control Services, and (10) Elevator Maintenance Services. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources from any 8(a), HUBZONE, or Small Business firms for this requirement. Do not submit capability statements; instead, companies wishing to respond are invited to go to the web site at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil to download the associated market survey file found under solicitation number N62467-04-R-0099. A more comprehensive description of the requirement will be provided with the market survey, as well as instructions for submission of the survey itself. The due date for responses is February 11, 2004. Responses may be faxed to Ms. Theresa Britton at 843-820-5819 or e-mailed: theresa.m.britton@navy.mil. It is the Government's intention to issue this solicitation exclusively through the Internet at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The entire solicitation will be available at the site for viewing or downloading. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register at the web site. This will normally be the only method of distribution of solicitation and amendments; therefore it is the offeror's responsibility to periodically check the web site for amendments to the solicitation. The official plan holder list will also be maintained on and can be printed from the web site. Any resultant contract will have a performance period that includes a base year with four option years. The contract type will be a combination firm fixed-price and indefinite quantity. This is a negotiated source selection procurement that consists of the submission of price and technical proposals. The NAICS for this procurement is 561210 with a size standard of $30 Million. This is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is available at this time. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
