- D308--The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center intends to award a purchase order to S.P.Shuey Company on a sole source basis to update a government owned software program. This requirement is being sole sourced to the S.P. Shuey Company because they wrote the original software program and the company is familiar with the code of the software to be updated and the government owned scanner units. Because of this expertise, knowledge, and familiarity with the existing programs and equipment, S.P. Shuey is the only contractor who can update and support the existing government software in the time it is required. The updated program must be delivered by 15 June 2004. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received before 19 March 20 04 at 1pm will be considered by the Government for the purposes of determining whether to compete the requirement. Commercial procedures are not being used.
