- Description
- This procurement is for reels of Wire Rope, 1-7/16? Diameter, Steel, Right-hand Lay, Die Formed Strand, Warrington seale, Polyester Core in accordance with P/N A92791-37 and NAWCADLKE-MISC-482400-0035 (For Aircraft Arresting). This is a flight critical item and requires significant quality control. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price type contract. Quantity of 15 reels, No option. The delivery is FOB destination to Lakehurst, NJ 120 days after date of contract, with best commercial packaging and packing. The specifications for the Wire Rope are subject to Export Control regulations and will only be released to firms who are certified with the DLSC for receipt of military critical technical data. See Note 8. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract to the offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government, considering the factors of Past Performance, and Price. Final inspection and acceptance by the Government at source. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst plans to issue SOLICITATION NUMBER N68335-03-R-0043 on or about approximately 25 March 2004. The solicitation will appear on the NAVAIR home page www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/. It is requested that all interested parties submit a current completed and certified DD Form 2345 (Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement) to NAWCADLKE Contracting Office. Higher Level Contract Quality Requirements apply. Inspection and Acceptance at source. Contractors must be CCR registered.
