Description

Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), the Alaska District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, proposes to modify the firm-fixed priced type Contract No. W911KB-04-C-0008, awarded to Strand Hunt Construction Inc. (SHC) on 27 Feb 04 for Design/Construct Joint Security Complex at Eielson AFB, Alaska. The modification is to design and construct 74.3 square meters of Mobility Supply area. As a part of this modification, the area associated with the Break Room will be reduced by 18.6 square meters for a net gain of 55.7 square meters. This work was originally advertised under Solicitation No. DACA85-03-R-0033. and identified as Betterment #2. See Note 22. Award must be made in less than 45 days.
