- Description
- The Nashville District Corps of Engineers intends to issue four (4) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Task Order type contracts for civil works construction and design-build services. This acquisition is a set aside for 8(a) constructio n contractors in the states of Kentucky, and Tennessee. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 29, 2004. This solicitation will be located electronically at http://www.lrn.usace.army.mil on or about March 29, 2004. The North American Industry Classification System (NAIC) Codes for this procurement action are 236, 237, and 238. The total cumulative amount shall not exceed three million dollars ($3,000,000.00) during the three (3) year performance period for the resulting contract. The minimum dollar amount of a Task Order issued against the contract will not be less than two thousand ($2,000.00) dollars. The maximum dollar amount of a Task Order issued against the contract will not be more than one million ($1,000,000.00) dollars. The work th at shall be performed under these contracts shall include building construction, maintenance, repair work, demolition services, and design services for projects designated for real property facilities in the geographic area of the Nashville District Corps of Engineers. Multiple Award Task Order Contract Awardees will compete for Task Order work among the four awardees. The construction performance period will be specified in the Statement of Work for each individual Task Order. Interested offerors are re quired to submit the following documentation in order to be considered for award of one of these four (4) contracts. The Price Proposal in original and one (1) copy. There will be a proto-typical project posted in the Solicitation for the offeror to provi de the price proposal for. The offeror shall submit Past Performance Information in original and one copy. The Technical Proposal in original and one (1) copy. The offeror shall also submit a signed Standard Form 1442, which is the Solicitation, Offer, an d Award Document. The offeror shall also complete and submit Section 00600 Representations and Certifications in original and one (1) copy. The evaluation factors that will be used to evaluate the offerors proposals will be Technical, Past Performance, a nd Price. Technical and Past Performance when combined will be slightly more important than price. The Government will use the Technical, Past Performance and Price related factors to arrive at a Best Value Decision. The awardees must be registered in t he Central Contractors Registration database. Information regarding the Central Contractors Registration can be located electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. The Government intends to award these four (4) contracts without discussions. The complete prop osal packages shall be submitted to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 110 9th Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee 37203, Room A604, Attention: John W. Anders.
