Description

The item to procure is a Ammunition Box (NSN: 8140-00-659-0078) (Part Number 6590078) End Item is 6650 Mount. Material 104 thick steel per ASTM A366 with formed edges, includes welded and rivet construction size is approximately 14.0 in x 7.06 x 7. 69. Phosphate coating and carc paint required. Requirements are 220 each Ammunition Box for use on the 6650 Mount. The solicitation number for this acquisition is W52H09-04-T-0279 under commercial simplified acquisition procedures. Estimated issue date is 29 Mar 04. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments threto.
