- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format is Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The reference number is FA3047-04-T-0017. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 423210. The size standard is 500 employees. The contractor shall provide the following items for CLIN 00001 in the quantity of (973) FOLDING TABLET ARM: Mounted at 6 degrees for reading and writing comfort. 12 1/2" wide X 15 1/4" long with fixed arm rest 4 5/16" X 8 1/2". High-pressure plastic laminate bonded to both sides of 9/16" resin core. Edges are shaped and stain lacquered to complement top. Extra strong mechanism. Self lubricated with graphite-impregnated phenolic washers. Desk will be made for RIGHT-HANDED user. FRAME: 1 1/8" 18 gauge carbon steel quadratic tubing, legs waged to 5/8" diameter. All joints are hand brazed around the complete parameter of tubing. TABLET ARM SUPPORT: 1 1/8" 16 gauge carbon steel, quadratic tubing, secured to rear of chair back and down to the leg base. Tube closures are black plastic with steel spring umbrella clips. CHAIR HEIGHT: From seat to floor will measure 18". COMPENSATING BACK: Positive stop, tamper proof, providing 8-degree self-adjustment for comfort of occupant. SEAT and BACK: Seats doubled contoured with full waterfall front, with deep radius back. UPHOLSTERY: NOT APPLICABLE BOOK RACK: 1/4" steel rods with 5/16" steel cross rods resistance welded to form an integral unit and permanently brazed to frame. GLIDES: Self-leveling 1 1/4" diameter steel base of file hardness, rubber mounted and fully nickel-plated. METAL FINISH: Powder Coat SEAT AND BACK COLORS: - Air Force Blue TABLET ARM TOP: Light Oak FRAME: Char-Dark (Black-Brown) PART #: 104ABAFTA, CLIN 0002 in the quantity of (88) FOLDING TABLET ARM: Mounted at 6 degrees for reading and writing comfort. 12 1/2" wide X 15 1/4" long with fixed arm rest 4 5/16" X 8 1/2". The provision in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial items, is applicable to this solicitation. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is applicable to this solicitation and the blanks in section (a) are completed as follows: Techinical is the most important as far as meeting the specifications then price will be considered. Offerors shall include with their quotes, a completed copy of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. Far 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercials Items, 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer--Central Contractor Registration, and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, are applicable to this acquisition. Responses to this RFQ must be received via fax or e-mail by the stated response time at the 37th Contracting Squadron, 1655 Selfridge Ave., Lackland AFB, TX 78236-5286. Quotes should be marked with the reference number. Vendors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award will be ineligible for award. No written request for quote is available This folding tablet must fold up and down to the side to allow easy walking.
