- Description
- The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) has a requirement to replace no. 2 chiller compressor and condenser in Building 24 located at 325 Broadway, Boulder, Colorado 80305. The objective is to remove the defective compressor and replace with new or remanufactured Carlyle compressor (Model #06ea 155 1 0) or factory authorized replacement model from Carrier Corporation. New liquid line filters shall be installed and if acid is present in the system the contractor shall use Acid Away in the proper amounts to neutralize the acid. Remove the defective condenser from circuit #2 and replace with a new condenser also from Carrier Corporation (Model #09rp054-289) or factory replacement. On systems 1 and 2 Leak check, evacuate to 50 microns and charge unit, start and verify for proper operation. The vendor will supply all materials, parts and components necessary to complete the required activities described in the statement of work. Vendor will remove old components, clean all debris and used parts and dispose of properly. Work shall be completed 45 days from the day contract is awarded. Anticipated award date is May 3, 2004. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13 (NTE $100K) and is set-aside for small businesses. NAICS Code: 238220. Size Standard: $12.0. Proposals must include business size, Federal Taxpayer Identification Number, and Dun and Bradstreet Number. The Mountain Administrative Support Center (MASC), Acquisition Management Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
