- Description
- The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) has a requirement to replace 3 chiller compressors located at 325 Broadway, Boulder, Colorado 80305. The objective is to replace the #4 Dunham Bush chiller compressor in fan room 1 and replace #3 and #4 Dunham Bush Compressors in room 3502. The contractor is required to do the following: reclaim refrigerant, install suction line filter canister and clean up filters, replace liquid line filters, add acid away to compressor to assist in oil clean up, leak check system and repair all leaks, evacuate system to 50 microns, charge system, using all new refrigerant, start and check for proper operation, run system for 3 weeks and then check oil in compressor. If ok, remove suction line filters and replace the liquid line filter with new filters. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor and supplies necessary to complete the required activities described in the statement of work. Work shall be completed 45 days from the date of award. Anticipated award date is May 3, 2004. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13 (NTE $100K) and is set-aside for small businesses. NAICS Code: 238220. Size Standard: $12.0. Proposals must include business size, Federal Taxpayer Identification Number, and Dun and Bradstreet Number. The Mountain Administrative Support Center (MASC), Acquisition Management Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
