Delgado 20 CONS/LGCAD Phone: (803) 895-6831 Fax: (803) 895-6020 E-Mail: Richardd@shaw.af.mil Request For Quote, 04-QS090 The 20th Contracting Squadron, Shaw AFB, S.C. is requesting a quote on the following Services: Contractor will pick up 1 empty 3000 gallon tank and 3 empty 5000 gallon Cryogenic tanks for load and transport to workplace, perform corrosion prevention by sandblasting and then painting. Tank will be returned to original location. Contractor will coordinate with customer at least 14 days in advance to set up times for pickup to allow Shaw members to drain and purge tanks. Only two tanks (one LOX and one LIN) will be picked up at one time. IAW T.0. 37C2-8-36-3 Paint Primer should be Organic zinc primer per MIL-P-85582 IAW drawing 7545352. The paint finish shall be polyurethane, IAW MIL-C-85285, and the color shall be gloss white, No. 17875, as specified in FED-STD 595A. Pictures of tanks available upon request. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) # 04-QS090. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332813, and size standard 500 employees. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted. Submissions must include a completed copy of the provision at *FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification – Commercial Items, name, address, cage code, DUNS number, and telephone number with its offer. In addition, the following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation – Commercial Items (Price and Delivery); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, Local Shaw Clause 4 and 19 (Copy of clause available upon request). All contractors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration to be eligible for award. Award will be made to the quotation, which offers the best value to the government based on an integrated assessment of price and delivery time. All offers are due no later than 22 Mar 2004 at 5:00 p.m. EDT. *Complete Representations and Certifications are required with submission of pricing.
