Description
***** THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government.***** The Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is performing market research in preparation to issue a solicitation for comprehensive hospital and physician medical services to be provided to federal inmates incarcerated in Lexington, Kentucky. Comprehensive medical services consist of both inpatient/outpatient hospital/physician services and various outpatient consultant services to be performed on-site at the FMC. A Government proposal for this requirement is in development which may or may not result in a contract. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources to provide for this requirement. A “Market Research Questionnaire” will be available on or about March 15, 2004 and will be posted at this website. Sources are encouraged to view the questionnaire and submit capability information for acquisition planning purposes. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Any proprietary information received should be marked appropriately. Sources are encouraged to describe medical capabilities in sufficient detail to allow BOP to define subsequent proposal opportunities. Deadline for submission of information is Friday, March 26, 2004. All responses should be submitted to: U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, U. S. Armed Forces Reserve Complex, 346 Marine Forces Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75051, Attn: Lori Wehling, Contracting Officer. Submissions may also be faxed to (972) 352-4545 (Attn: Lori Wehling). Interested parties requiring additional information or clarification may submit written requests to lwehling@bop.gov. No telephone calls regarding this request will be accepted.
