Destination Information: Indefinite quantities will be delivered to various locations. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 35 NSNs with various item descriptions and end items. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Classes 2520, 2530, 2540, 2805, 2910, 2920, 2940, 2990, 3020, 4030, 4310, 4320, 4330, 4720, 4730, 4820, and 4910. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract for which Delivery Orders may be placed for one (1) year. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. See Note(s): 9, 12, 26. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of 01 April 2004. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Drawings/specifications will be available through the DIBBS or SRweb solicitation link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date as applicable. This acquisition is also for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This is an unrestricted procurement with other than full and open competition.
