Description

Provide all plant, labor, material, supplies, equipment and supervision to tuckpoint, repair, and rebuild portions of the historic stone wall at New Albany National Cemetery, New Albany, Indiana. Project will include wall rebuild work, tuckpointing restoration work, stone insetting work, and capstone insetting work. All work to be consistent with original materials to ensure that new work visually blends with existing wall. Magnitude of project is expected to be between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. NAICS code 238140 is applicable. Contractor will be expected to commence work within 10 days of receipt of Notice to Proceed and to complete all work within 120 days. RFQ solicitation will be issued on or about March 25, 2004. Response due date for quotes will be on or about April 15, 2004. Request for a hard copy of the solicitation must be in writing to Mr. Mark Sanderson, Contract Specialist. No telephone requests for hardcopy solicitations will be accepted. Requests for solicitation documents must be received no later than March 25, 2004. The solicitation may also be obtained FREE OF CHARGE, from VA's Business Opportunities System via the internet at the following URL address on or about March 25, 2004: ttp://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/solicitation?number=786-137-04.
