- Description
- The Air Force intends to award a sole source contract to Safe Environment Engineering of Valencia, CA 91355 for NON-PERSONAL SERVICES to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, services, transportation and incidentals necessary to travel to Tinker AFB OK, to provide a one-time repair,replace,upgrade and training on the LifeLine Confined Space Monitoring System. The period of performance will commence on 1 April 04 and complete on 1 June 04. A Firm-Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is no later than 1 April 04. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
