- Description
- Solicitation /Synopsis: This combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-20. The proposed contract listed is set aside for small business, and applies to Northern American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 442210, and employee standard size of 500. The contractor shall provide and install approximately 470 square yards of carpeting in rooms 144, 136, 128 (multiple offices), 122, 148, 132, and 133 in building 1501, located on F. E. Warren AFB, WY. Additionally all cove base in the building will be replaced. Carpet and cove base must be installed in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendation. This project will require the contractor to remove and properly dispose of all existing carpeting and cove base. The contractor will NOT be responsible for moving furniture; government representatives will be responsible for clearing furniture. Carpeting must be Bigelow Contempo II (or equal). Color for carpeting must be “wineberry” (or equal) and cove base color must be brown. If offering an equal item, samples must be submitted with quotation. Installation of carpeting and cove base may need to be performed outside of normal business hours (i.e. evenings and/or weekends). Quotations for this solicitation must include shipping costs (FOB destination). The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the blanks filled in as follows: Request for Quotation will be evaluated for price and compatibility with specifications. Quotes shall include pricing information to include material unit price and extended total as well as the completed provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. No addenda apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items-applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR 52.212-5 clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are (b) (5) (14) (16) (17) (18) and (29). The following clauses are also applicable to this acquisition: DFARS 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program, and 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Alt A). Quotes will be received at 90 CONS/LGCB, 7505 Marne Loop, F.E. Warren AFB, WY 82005-2860 until 4:30 P.M. Mountain Standard Time on 19 Mar 2004.
