Description
Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services, and supervision for Repair Cooling Towers, Bldg 1899, Scott AFB, Illinois. Principal items of work include, but are not limited to, removal of existing mechanical and electrical systems as related to cooling towers; and new mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems as related to cooling towers, according to the project specifications and drawings. Project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1M. This acquisition is being considered for a HUB Zone set-aside. If your firm is HUB Zone certified and intends to submit an offer on this project, you must provide the following information to the contracting officer not later than ten (10) days after the publication of this notice: (a) SBA certification of HUB Zone eligibility; (b) a positive statement of intention to submit an offer as a prime contractor; (c) evidence of recent and relevant experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact with telephone numbers. (Information provided should demonstrate experience, as a prime or subcontractor, with installation, maintenance, and/or repair of cooling towers supporting large industrial-type facilities.); and (d) evidence of bonding capability for the stated magnitude. The above information must be submitted in sufficient detail within 10 days after the publication of this notice or the solicitation may be advertised and issued as a small business set-aside or unrestricted.
