Description

The USDA Forest Service is seeking offers for road maintenance on the Tonasket and Methow Valley Ranger District of the Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forest, on roads in north central Washington near the towns of Winthrop, Twisp, Carlton, Okanogan, Tonasket, Wauconda and Conconully, Washington. The majority of the work will be routine blading of aggregate and native surfaced single lane roads, ditch cleaning, dust abatement and road brushing. Other work that may be ordered is culvert cleaning, culvert replacement, minor paving, and aggregate surfacing. Operating periods will be ordered as needed between April and November or each year. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies, and perform all work required to maintain the facilities in accordance with performance based specifications. Items of work not listed in the schedule of items that are considered within the general scope of the contract shall be negotiated on a lump sum basis based on actual material costs and equipment rental unit prices established in the resulting contract. This contract will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, firm fixed priced multiple year, performance based service, commercial items contract with two option year ordering period. Task orders may be placed against this contract until September 30, 2006 if all options are exercised. This is a HUBZone set-aside project. Only certified HUBZone contractors registered with the Small Business Administration may be considered for award. NAICS code is 115310 with small business size of $6.0 million.
