- Description
- The intent of this solicitation and any resultant contract is to obtain services of a Type III helicopter fully operated by qualified personnel and equipped to meet specifications for use in administration and protection of Public Lands. The aircraft will be utilized as a Helitack Platform. The awarded contract will be for one base year with two renewable options. During the Mandatory Availability Period (90 Days - June 2 through August 29th of each year) and any extensions thereof, the aircraft will be made available for the exclusive use of the Government. The helicopter furnished will be used for fire initial attack and support missions and for other administrative flights as assigned. It may also be used for law enforcement flights. The solicitation is expected to issue December 18, 2003. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (02-DEC-2003).
