- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for hardware for the Universal Recoverable Exercise Torpedo (UREXTORP). Ten (10) each MK 50/54 UREXTORP Nose in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing Number 7607838 and all associated drawings. One (1) each first article will be required for the MK 50/54 UREXTORP Nose. Ten (10) each UREXTORP Forebody Assemblies in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing Number 7607835 and all associated drawings. One (1) each first article will be required for the UREXTORP Forebody Assembly. Five (5) each MK 50 UREXTORP Afterbody Assemblies in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing Number 7607837 and all associated drawings. One (1) each first article will be required for the MK 50 UREXTORP Afterbody Assembly. All requests for copies of the solicitation document must include a certified copy of DD Form 2345 as access to the drawings is subject to th e Arms Control Act (see note 8 for further information). Delivery of the first articles is required within 8 weeks after contract award date. Delivery of the production quantities is required within 10 weeks after acceptance of first articles. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. Inspection at Source/Acceptance at Destination. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 332999 with a size standard of 500 employees. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 24 Mar 04. The closing date of the solicitation will be 23 Apr 04, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. This requirement will NOT be procured under FAR Part 12. When issued, the RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil and on the Keyport Acquisition homepage at http://kpt-eco.kpt.nuwc.n avy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to powersm@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO or Keyport websites. The offeror must have a current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov ). Any questions should be submitted in writing via the fax number provided above or e-mailed to powersm@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt o f quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Notes 1, 8, and 26 apply.
