- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to design and construct a single hydrodynamic test model of a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat that can be fitted with two collars. The expected model length is 4 feet. Collars will be of foam and/or of air-filled fabric. Collar types and hull form shall reflect the Zodiac H733 I/O. Coast Guard personnel shall assist in developing specific details of the model and its parts. The model with its various collars shall be supplied with a suitable cradle and boxed to store and ship without damage per Federal Specification PPP-B-621. Models shall be constructed in accordance with Coast Guard Specification Number D-800-024-2. Offeror’s responding to this solicitation must have particular experience in constructing these exact models. The solicitation shall require the submission of past performance information to verify experience and capabilities. Construction and delivery shall be coordinated with the testing facility. The Models shall be delivered F.O.B. Destination to the testing facility that is to be determined after award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency. Request For Quotation (RFQ) Number HSCG40-04-Q-60009 shall include all specifications required to construct this Model and shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.eps.gov) on or about 10 March 2004. The closing date for receipt of quotations shall be 22 March 2004 at 2:00 p.m. EST. Quotations received after this established deadline shall NOT be considered.
